Service Applications
Engineering, Land Development, Land Survey
Pre-engineering topographic surveys and planimetric mapping are completed for Engineers, Land Developers and Land Surveyors. Our clients have concerns about access to properties, working in difficult terrain and projects which cover a large area where turn around is a concern compared to conventional survey. We can provide contours up to 25cm and even cut and fill volumes in a cost effective manner which will help you meet your schedule and budget.
Exploration, Mining, Aggregates, Oil and Gas
Typically Exploration, Mining, Oil and Gas projects are in remote areas with challenging terrain. Data is needed for reconnaissance, project planning, due diligence, feasibility studies, permitting, and other key phases. We work in all phases from Grassroots to Development to Monitoring a producing project. For Aggregate sites and open pit mines volumes are computed for inventory and monitoring. An up-to-date imagery and topographic base can speed up the overall development process saving time and money.
Environmental Consulting
Orthophoto imagery can be overlaid with topographic mapping, planimetric data, property boundaries, legal survey data and other information for environmental assessment projects. An up-to-date imagery base is invaluable as a tool to be used in presentations to clients or municipalities, and to aid in decision making.
First Nations
Up-to-date base maps of remote communities showing infrastructure of roads, water, housing, land development and flood plain mapping are a valuable tool to management. With Land Claims on the rise and the time to settle these claims increasing, a detailed base of traditional lands overlaid with traditional use information can help stakeholders streamline the process.
Wind & Solar Farms
High-resolution color aerial orthophotography and accurate topographic data combined with boundary line and utilities surveys serve as the base for design of proposed facilities or upgrade to existing facilities. The survey mapping typically becomes a part of the GIS database for all planning and engineering efforts.
Golf Course Architecture
Detailed and up-to-date orthophoto imagery, topography and contours are an invaluable component of Golf Course design and/or renovation. The American Society of Golf Course Architects includes Aerial Survey in their guidelines. An As-Built Aerial Survey of an existing course including tees, greens, bunkers, fairways, club house, facilities and even sprinkler heads, can help streamline a renovation project saving time and money when compared to a conventional survey.
